Philosophy

Your dream yacht starts with a design tailored to your wishes, combined with expertise of our designers. Starting with the dimensions of the yachts you would like, the area in witch you are going to sail and the styling and interior layout you would like we create a preliminary design which is the starting point for your future yacht.

When all details are to your specification a linesplan is made to determine the stability and seagoing abilities. For a seagoing yacht (CE-A) we design the hull with a fine entry and flared bow to make the yacht as pleasant as possible when the going gets tough. For coastal waters (CE-B) where a larger interior volume is more important than superb seagoing abilities the hull is given a bit more volume to accommodate a more voluminous interior.

When all details in the linesplan and superstructure model are correct, the next stage is started, the hull construction. All the parts that go into your yacht are meticulously engineered to make sure the yacht will be as fair as possible when it is constructed by the craftsmen of the yard of your choice. Everything, from engine foundations to portholes and stabilizer foundations to antenna mounts, is specifically engineered to fit.

During the structural engineering our interior designer starts refining the interior layout, adding detailing, trims and paneling. When the hull construction is detailed, the interior will take it one step further, discussing all the parts that go into your yacht, starting with the veneers and ending with the fittings and upholstery.

One of the most important parts for your comfort when under way is uninterrupted functionality of the technical installations that drive your ship. Our engineers design all the systems to fit together with as little maintenance as possible. Again, all parts are carefully considered and all schematics are worked out for your installation.

During the design stage you will receive regular updates on the work done so far, and of course regular meetings at the office to include all your wishes into the final design.
